There are two types of people in the business world, and I’m sure you have met them both.
There are those who are only in it for the money. All these people want is for the transaction to be complete, so that they collect their money. They are solely, selfishly focused on just the “transaction”. You can almost feel it from the moment you lock eyes with them and you shake hands with them, they emit selfishness. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt, they must not have received the right training from the right trainer. So, make sure to send them my way next time you encounter them.
Then there are the people who are in it to make an impact, to truly “transform” their client’s life for the better. These rare individuals focus on finding out exactly what their client needs, wants, desires and or what problem their client needs solved. They focus on service first and you gladly pay because you appreciate how they have helped you. I was brought up as most people in business with the wrong training, I was focused on just the transaction. I experienced some quick fake success, but it did not last, it was not sustainable. It was not until I sought the right training and the right trainers that I began to see sustainable real success.
